California information




It is located in the western region of the country, bordering Oregon on the north, Nevada on the east, Arizona on the south, Mexico on the south, and Pacific on the west.
It also has the second and fifth most populated areas of the nation, the Greater Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay Area and eight of the country's most populated cities: Los Angeles, San Diego, San Jose, San Francisco, Fresno, Sacramento, Long Beach and Oakland.



The California flag was adopted by the California State Legislature in 1911.
The California flag is made up of a white cloth with a red stripe at the bottom and a brown bear at the center, which is accompanied by a red five-pointed star at the top of the flap and state name as Republic in English.



 The Great Seal of the State of California is the official seal of that state.
It was adopted in the course of the 1849 California Constitutional Convention and modified in 1937. The seal represents Athena, a Greek and Roman goddess of wisdom, a brown bear and several bunches of grapes representing state wine production.
